Connect via Claude Desktop

Add your prompt2love library to Claude Desktop as a custom connector and ask Claude to fetch prompts directly.

Prerequisites

Custom connectors require a paid plan. You need Claude Pro or Max (individual). On Team or Enterprise, custom connectors must be added by an admin.

Steps

1. Open Settings. In Claude Desktop, go to Settings → Connectors.

2. Add a custom connector. Click Add custom connector.

3. Open Advanced. Expand the Advanced options.

4. Enter the server details:

   • URL: https://prompt2love.com/api/mcp
   • Authentication: OAuth

5. Authorize. Claude opens the prompt2love consent screen. Sign in and approve access. The connector becomes active once you return to Claude.

6. Use it in chat. Ask Claude to work with your library, for example:

   search my prompts for onboarding and open the best match

   Claude calls search and fetch and brings the prompt into the conversation.

Troubleshooting

• No "Add custom connector" button — your plan may not allow it, or (Team/Enterprise) an admin must add the connector for you.
• Tools do not appear — confirm the URL is exactly https://prompt2love.com/api/mcp and that OAuth sign-in completed on the prompt2love consent screen.
• Authorization expired — remove and re-add the connector to trigger a fresh OAuth sign-in.
