Login: OTP email not arriving or login loop
Symptom
You request a sign-in code but the email never arrives — or after entering it you're sent back to the login screen in a loop.
Cause
- The one-time-code (OTP) email landed in spam/junk or was delayed by your mail provider.
- A stale or blocked cookie prevents the new session from being stored, causing the login loop.
- You requested several codes — only the most recent one is valid.
Fix
- Check spam and promotions folders. Search your inbox for prompt2love and add the sender to your contacts.
- Wait up to a few minutes, then request a fresh code. Always use the newest code; older ones expire.
- Allow cookies for prompt2love.com. Disable strict tracking-protection or "block all cookies" for the site.
- Clear cookies for prompt2love.com and reload, then sign in again. This clears the loop-causing stale session.
- Try an incognito/private window or a different browser to rule out an extension or profile issue.
- In the desktop app, fully quit (⌘Q) and relaunch, then request a new code.
Codes are single-use and short-lived. If one fails, just request another rather than retrying the same one.
