Using the macOS desktop app
The desktop app is a native macOS wrapper around the prompt2love web app — same features, in a dedicated window outside the browser.
A real native window
- Lives in your Dock and ⌘Tab app switcher, separate from your browser tabs.
- Resize, full-screen and window controls behave like any Mac app.
- No browser chrome, address bar or unrelated tabs to distract you.
Persistent login
You sign in once. The app keeps your session, so it opens straight to your library next time — no daily re-authentication.
Same features as the web app
Everything you do on prompt2love.com works here identically:
- Create, edit and organise prompts and skills.
- Browse the public community and the magazine.
- Manage your account, subscription and connected apps in Settings.
Because it's the same app, anything fixed or shipped on the web is available in the desktop app right away.
External links open in child windows
When you click a link that points outside prompt2love, the app opens it in a separate child window instead of replacing your main view. Your library stays put while you read the linked page.
Tips
- Keep the app pinned in your Dock for one-click access.
- Use the same account as the browser and extension — everything syncs to one library.
Still stuck?
Window or login behaving oddly? Quit and relaunch the app first. If a problem persists, see troubleshoot login or ask in the community.
